Kevin J. Pelton, MD, FAAOS

A native of upstate New York, Dr. Pelton was raised in Texas where he was educated and attended the famed Texas A & M University, graduating with a B.Sc. in Biomedical Science. He graduated from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, earning his MD degree in 2001. Dr. Pelton’s post-graduate studies include an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency and a Fellowship in Trauma Surgery, both taking place at the University of Southern California- Los Angeles County Medical Center.
Dr. Pelton joined Los Angeles Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists in 2007 and continues his faculty assignment as a clinical instructor with the Orthopaedic staff at USC, training new Residents and sharing his expertise in joint diseases and sports induced injury.
He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and an active member in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. An active, sports oriented individual, Dr. Pelton enjoys golf and sailing the beautiful Southern California Coast. Complete bio.
